bread roll is a small, usually round loaf of breadBread rolls are commonly served as a meal accompaniment, or else – cut transversely and with a filling placed between the two halves – used to make sandwiches similar to those produced using slices of bread. A variety of rolls are found in India, from rolls made with roti, to bread rolls made by stuffing. Many variants include spices, such as coriander and cumin and masala stuff. Bread Paneer Rolls are the quickest snack you can make with some bread slices and paneer stuff. I make this often with different variations of paneer filling recipe to snack on. We are college-going students and this really serves the purpose of a quick snack.

And considering the fact that the filling is paneer sounds so delicious and wholesome. We have seen many recipes online and tried various times. So this turns out to be an adapted recipe with few changes in how we would like it to be. So this is pretty much our recipe…probably. So it means that you guys can make it your own by simply adapting, adding, subtracting, and testing out your own ingredients to the paneer filling used in this recipe.

Ingredients :

Paneer: 50gms

Cheese (grated): 50gms

American corn: 1 cup

Onion: 1

Carrot: 1

Red chilli powder: 1tsp

Garam  masala: 2tsp

Mayonnaise: 1tbsp

Tomato sauce: 1 tbsp

Salt: as per taste

Coriander: 1 small cup

Process:

1.       In a bowl add grated paneer, corn, carrot and finely chopped onions and give it a good mix.

2.       Now, add grated cheese, garam masala, red chilli powder, salt, and coriander. Give a quick mix.

3.       Add mayonnaise and tomato sauce to the mixture. Mix it well.

4.       Take a bread slice and cut the edges. Roll the cut slice with belan (rolling pin), make sure it’s not too thick or thin.

5.       Put a tablespoon of mixture on the bread slice. Brush the borders with water and roll it a bit tight without breaking and secure the ends. Wet the ends if necessary to seal properly.

6.       Meanwhile, heat the oil in the kadhai (frying pan).

7.       Put the bread rolls in the oil and fry till it turns golden brown.

*it turns into golden brown easily so give a quick toss and fry in medium flame. It absorbs oil too, so use a kitchen towel in the serving plate if needed.

8.       Serve it with green chutney or tomato sauce and enjoy the snack.
