KULFI

Hey guys!!

Welcome back to our blog :)

Today we're excited to share a recipe and this one has to be the go-to for a summer treat.  Kulfi is an Indian version of ice cream and just requires the basic ingredients. Even though everyone has icecream cravings, kulfi has a whole different level of cravings and emotion. The texture of kulfi, unlike ice cream, has a different texture. And we guess when both are compared on various points, they're going to have a balanced point of view and cravings. So let's get into the process......

INGREDIENTS:

Full cream milk- half litre

Sugar   - 2 tablespoons

Cardamom - 2 cloves

Almonds- a fair few

Cashews – a fair few

Custard Powder- 1 tablespoon

PROCESS :

1.       Take the milk into a saucepan and start boiling it in the high flame.
*keep mixing the milk because it’s on high flame

2.       Now take the custard powder into a separate bowl and take 2-3 tablespoons of milk from the saucepan and add it to the custard powder. Mix it.

3.       Now add this mixture when milk boiling on the stove thickens a bit.

4.       Keep on mixing because the custard can get burnt if you delay.

5.       When the milk is reduced to half or you find it thickened, switch off the stove.

6.       Leave it for five minutes.

7.       Add cashews and almonds to this mixture.

8.       Take kulfi molds or small glasses and pour this mixture into them
*if you’re using glasses cover the glass with a foil or polythene sheet.

9.       Store it in the fridge for 8 hours or overnight.
